Tia West

Long-Term Substitute on Special Assignment

Tia has been working in the special education support field since 2015. She worked at another private school in Oklahoma previous to being hired at Monarch, and absolutely loved it. Working in the special education field is a huge passion of hers as she has a brother with autism. Tia watched her parents struggle getting him the education he really needed, so she wanted to find a way to help other students get the proper education. She currently has an associate’s degree in Elementary Education and is working on obtaining her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Special Education.  

Outside of her career and school, she is a mom to a spunky 2.5 year old girl and has been married for almost 4 years. Her favorite hobby if she has any free time is reading a great book!
