Marilyn White

Professional Educator

Marilyn graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and Guidance Associate from Houston Baptist University. Her college experience also includes Music Therapy and Early Childhood Education at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Marilyn is a true Texan. She was born in San Antonio and has lived in Houston for most of her life. Her teaching background includes twenty-six years of public and private education. She has experience as a dyslexia and dysgraphia instructor and testing administrator, and classroom experience as a teacher and reading interventionist. It is Marilyn’s passion to help students realize their strengths and abilities to become life-long learners.

Marilyn spends her time away from school doing activities with her son. Her favorite hobbies include jigsaw puzzles and watching Houston Texans football. Marilyn is excited to be part of the Monarch family.
