Marcy Fuentes

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Marcy received her Associates in Applied Science in occupational therapy from Lone Star College and continued with graduating from DeVry University with a B.S. in Healthcare Administration. Her previous work experience includes working with medically fragile patients in pediatric home health, outpatient pediatric clinic of all ages with a variety of neurological differences, and rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility. Marcy has a special interest in therapeutic interventions that focus on sensory integration, therapeutic use of play, self-regulation, and self-care skills. She loves finding creative ways to utilize therapeutic play to improve how a child would participate in their environment. Marcy is very excited to join the Monarch Team and looks forward to helping each student reach a positive outcome to meet their goals both in school and at home. Marcy enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, watching classic movies, reading, and traveling.
