Elsa Rizo

Elsa graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in English Literature. She started her education career at KIPP Texas for grades 5th-8th in a mainstream environment, where she fell in love with the Special Education department. She then moved on to a small specialized private school where she enhanced her skills in a self-contained environment. 

Elsa’s passion for education has grown throughout the years and she’s excited to bring that passion to Monarch. In her spare time, Elsa likes to read, camp, travel, and spend time with her dogs, cat, family, and friends. Elsa loves animals and has volunteered at animal shelters and rescue organizations. She joins Monarch as a professional educator.
