Bryan Leturia - "Mr. L."

Bryan, also known as Mr. L, was born in Peru and immigrated to the United States at the age of 5. After living in East Newark, New Jersey for ten years he and his family moved to Houston, Texas where he attended and graduated from Eisenhower Senior High School. Bryan then went on to continue his education at Sam Houston State University. 

Bryan graduated from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in 2018 with a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science with a Minor in Psychology. During his last years at SHSU, he traveled to Peru and taught English as a second language at the Private Educational Institution David Jesus, a preschool and elementary school, where he discovered his love for the field of Education. After graduating from SHSU he worked as a teaching assistant for Special Education Students in a public school system. 

Bryan is very kind and determined and believes that "all students can be taught; it just takes patience, dedication, and a whole lot of heart."  In his free time Bryan mentors others to create artwork and loves cooking Peruvian dishes for his family.
