Robin Rettie, Former Monarch Director of Transition Services, shares her life experience growing of as a sibling to Laurie Lorraine Rettie (LLR), her sister born Microcephalic. Throughout her 48 years directly supporting individuals with varying abilities, Robin has witnessed tremendous growth and opportunities for individuals who learn at a different pace and in their own way.

What are your dreams for your adult child; college, trade school, employment, living independently or in a group supported home, and what about love and marriage? More importantly, what are your child's dreams for adulthood?

For all children, planning for adulthood begins early in life. Do you wonder how your child with varying abilities will reach adulthood prepared?
