Kelsey Rodriguez

Math Specialist

Kelsey has always had a love for math, teaching, and working with children. She knew she wanted to be a teacher from an early age. Kelsey graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. She then went on to graduate summa cum laude with a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics. Kelsey taught in the classroom for 10 years, including 2 here at Monarch, before transitioning to her new role as a Math Specialist. She absolutely loves her new role and is so excited to get to share her love of math with the Monarch learners. 

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys baking, playing trivia, going on walks or drives around the city with her fiancé, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite animal is a flamingo. Kelsey’s dream is to go to Flamingo Beach in Aruba one day to feed the wild flamingos.
