Judy Chalender

Advancement Director

Judy is a native Houstonian and has been in the nonprofit, private school sector for over twenty years. Her previous experience includes designing, implementing, and managing all fundraising activities, coordinating annual giving campaigns, and organizing special events. She has a strong background in donor cultivation, managing strategies and activities, and plans to develop and maintain donor relationships, soliciting contributions and ensuring donors feel engaged with the mission at The Monarch School. 

She has a passion for helping others and was a practice manager for a Cardiovascular Surgeon prior to her private school experience, she learned that caring for others has become her passion. She loves to volunteer, which includes The Houston Food Bank, Coats for the Homeless, and other volunteering through her church. She graduated from The Art Institute of Houston in Interior Design.  

In her spare time, she loves traveling with her family and exercising.
