Denise is a native Houstonian. Working for the Monarch Institute is something that is very near and dear to her heart. Having suffered a TBI at age sixteen from a car accident, she relates to the students on a personal level in having to struggle to learn skills and compensatory strategies for life. These are skills we often take for granted so giving of herself means a lot. Working with children with disabilities has always been a life goal of hers and she is so happy to be at Monarch where her life goal and the school’s mission aligns.
