Alicyn Bolton
Teacher Assistant
Alicyn is from Chicago, IL, and moved to Houston in 2013 upon her completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
Alicyn is motivated by her joy in understanding the unique ways neurodivergent minds work and was first drawn to Monarch through the supportive environment the team strives to create for each learner. Alicyn brings with her an extensive background in neurobehavioral rehabilitation and behavior support. Her personal philosophies of empowerment and identifying strengths as compensatory agents mirrors Monarch's commitment to the collaborative community they've built with care, compassion, and dedication.
In her spare time, Alicyn is a loving dog mom, avid reader, and supporter of the arts. She's a vocalist and musician, often incorporating music into her day with learners to build connections and support recall for key concepts. She is so excited to be part of the team here at Monarch and looks forward to every opportunity she has to grow with the school and connect with the learners.
