Together we are capable of providing quality diagnostic, psychological, and/or psychoeducational assessments in addition to offering a speech and language component. Our experienced clinicians and team members are able to assess psychopathology/symptom expression (e.g., ASD, AD/HD, Tourette's, OCD, learning disorders, mood disorders, etc.), intelligence, achievement, adaptive functioning, communication styles, and relationship preparedness in children with a minimum estimated mental age of 3 and above.

We offer a broad range of instruments (e.g., IQ tests, academic achievement tests, research-based inventories and questionnaires, projective tests, etc.) for assessing children with special needs or unusual clinical presentations. We also have the instrumentation and experience to work with adults as well, and use a developmental model in case conceptualization.

Each child's (or adult's) pattern of strengths and areas of relative deficits are carefully considered as we make recommendations. Our standard practice is to use multi-modal, multi-method assessment techniques to the extent possible in order to gain a well-rounded perspective on the children and adults we see. For students, we include a section in each report that provides basic, school-friendly psychoeducational objectives that provide a framework and structure for implementing school-based interventions.
